Connect to staff Wi-Fi
Network: NMRSD_SECURE
Username: Your school computer username.
Password: Your school computer password.
Windows
- Click the Wi-Fi icon on the taskbar and open the list of networks.
- Select NMRSD_SECURE and click Connect.
- Enter your school computer username and password, then click OK.
- If asked Continue connecting?, click Connect.
Android
- Open Settings → Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi may be under Connections or Network & internet → Internet.
- Tap NMRSD_SECURE and enter these settings:
- EAP method: PEAP
- Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
- CA certificate: Don’t validate
- Domain: Leave blank
- Identity: Your school computer username
- Anonymous identity: Leave blank
- Password: Your school computer password
- Tap Connect.
iPhone / iPad
- Open Settings → Wi-Fi.
- Tap NMRSD_SECURE.
- Enter your school computer username and password, then tap Join.
- When the certificate screen appears, tap Trust.
Mac
- Open Apple menu → System Settings → Wi-Fi.
- Select NMRSD_SECURE and click Connect.
- Enter your school computer username and password, then click Join.
- If a certificate message appears, click Continue. If asked, enter your Mac login password.
Changed your password?
Forget the saved Wi-Fi network, then follow the steps above with your new password.
- Windows: Settings → Network & internet → Wi-Fi → Manage known networks → NMRSD_SECURE → Forget.
- Android: Open Wi-Fi settings, tap the gear beside NMRSD_SECURE, then Forget.
- iPhone / iPad: Settings → Wi-Fi → Edit → ⓘ beside NMRSD_SECURE → Forget This Network → Forget.
- Mac: System Settings → Wi-Fi → Advanced → … beside NMRSD_SECURE → Remove From List → Forget.

Guest Wi-Fi
Open Wi-Fi settings and select NMRSD-GUEST.

Google 2-Step Verification
Protect your school Google account with an extra verification step when you sign in.
- Open Google setup below. It opens in a new tab. Make sure the account shown matches your school email above.
- Follow Google's instructions to add a verification method and turn on 2-Step Verification.
- Return here. We will check your status automatically, or you can select “Check again.”
Backup codes
Once 2-Step Verification is on, save backup codes so you can sign in if you lose access to your phone.
Get or view backup codes in Google ↗This opens your school account’s Backup codes page in Google. You can get, download, or print your codes there. Google may ask you to sign in again. Keep them somewhere safe; each code works once, and creating a new set replaces the old one.
Network Password
This is the password you use to sign in to school computers and to connect to the staff Wi-Fi. Your Google password does not change.
Your password is updated
- Use the new password the next time you sign in to a school computer.
- Update the saved Wi-Fi password on your phone, tablet, and any other device on the staff network. They will stop connecting until you do.
- If you are off site, connect to the school network or VPN before your first computer sign-in.
- A confirmation email is on its way to you.
