Google 2-Step Verification
Protect your school Google account with an extra verification step when you sign in.

- Follow Google's instructions to add a verification method and turn on 2-Step Verification.
- Return here. We will check your status automatically, or you can select “Check again.”
Backup codes
Once 2-Step Verification is on, save backup codes so you can sign in if you lose access to your phone.
Get or view backup codes in Google ↗This opens your school account’s Backup codes page in Google. You can get, download, or print your codes there. Google may ask you to sign in again. Keep them somewhere safe; each code works once, and creating a new set replaces the old one.
Network Password
This is the password you use to sign in to school computers and to connect to the staff Wi-Fi. Your Google password does not change.

What happens next
- Use the new password the next time you sign in to a school computer.
- Update the saved Wi-Fi password on your phone, tablet, and any other device on the staff network. They will stop connecting until you do.
- If you are off site, connect to the school network or VPN before your first computer sign-in.
- A confirmation email is on its way to you.
